Recycling Management
We work alongside Reciclador Chile, a local company from the Quintero district, to manage our waste responsibly—reducing our environmental impact and promoting a more sustainable culture.
Through this partnership, we receive a monthly certificate detailing the weight of our recycled waste and the corresponding eco-equivalences. These indicators provide clear, tangible evidence of the positive impact of our waste management efforts.
Equity
Currently, women represent 17% of our workforce, and we are proud to state that there are no gender pay gaps among our employees. We promote an inclusive and equitable workplace culture, fostering professional development opportunities for everyone.
CADE Educational Development Advisory Council
We joined the Educational Development Advisory Council of Don Orione School in Quintero with the purpose of supporting and empowering future young technical professionals. We believe that accompanying them throughout their training process not only strengthens their opportunities, but also contributes to the development of our community.
Trade Association Commitment
We are active members of the Valparaíso Regional Chamber of Commerce and regularly participate in working groups such as the Women in Business Roundtable and the Shared Value Roundtable. This involvement reinforces our commitment to SDG 17, turning our sustainability vision into concrete actions.
Whistleblowing Channel
At STM Ltda., we have a confidential reporting channel available on our website. Through this channel, we reinforce our commitment to ethics, transparency, and good corporate practices.
Alcohol and Drug Prevention
We have a clear alcohol and drug prevention policy, developed in collaboration with SENDA Previene Quintero.
Additionally, we actively participate in the “Working with Quality of Working Life” program, where we have established two dedicated teams: a Preventive Coordination Team and a Guidance and Support System.
Comprehensive Health
We maintain an ongoing health management program that includes medical campaigns, visits, and benefits through our partnership with Caja Los Andes, ensuring our employees have access to care, information, and opportunities to improve their overall well-being.
